On June 28th, 2025, the Metropolitan Asian Deaf Association hosted the first Deaf Asian Street Festival to promote the contributions of Deaf Asian performers, small businesses, and community leaders. The festival raised awareness about the importance of inclusive communication and connected Deaf Asians with essential resources. Bruce and Liz attended alongside United Hands, the New York Deaf Church, and other nonprofit organizations, in addition to government offices such as NY ABLE and the FDNY Office of Community Affairs.
